Co-Founder & Director
Justin is an activist, researcher, scholar, and music lover. He cofounded Something Queer with Danni in an effort to create a unique spaces for our vibrant Bay Area queer community.
The Something Queer Music and Arts Collective was founded in May of 2021 as a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation and is led by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are a tax-exempt public charity under IRS Section 501(c)3.
Our mission is to build queer community through education, art, music, culture, social support, self-expression, and civic engagement. We accomplish this goal through an annual retreat for members of the queer community, by providing opportunities within the queer community to connect, by providing scholarships and other funding to members of the queer community, and sponsoring other events and activities to promote queer community-building and mentorship opportunities.
